Pull up a chair.
You don't need to know the codebase, or even write code. Fixing a typo in the docs counts. So does telling us a screen reader trips over something.
01
Pick an issue
Start with one labelled good first issue. They're small on purpose, and someone has already written down where to look.
02
Say hi in the thread
Leave a comment so nobody else picks it up, and so we can point you at the right file before you've spent an evening on it.
03
Open a pull request
Small and unfinished is fine. We'd rather help you shape it than wait for it to be perfect.
Good first issues
